Whom shall I vote during Parliamentary election 2019?

I was taught since childhood that voting is the fundamental right and one must exercise. As I grew I always realized that choosing right candidate is at-most importance. So I make sure to vote, and vote for the right candidate. There was a question also, should we vote for right candidate or right party? It’s a wrong question. If party is correct, candidate has to be right, and vice a versa.
BJP has been a party with difference, during the era of L.K.Advani and Atalji. I do not think that status is any more valid as on today. It is said that during corporation election there have been huge money transactions for purchasing the votes, and promotion. Here onward money will play very vital role while fighting elections. Its no more on ideology, character, value system & efficiency of the candidates. Also BJP is accepting any corrupt or leaders with criminal background without any due-diligence.
There has been a big voice, planned propaganda for NaMo and BJP during 2014. There have been havoc about virtual corruption numbers like 2-G, Coal, Vadra, etc. against Congress. (If those cases vere valid, should anyone get punished?). I never believed that it was a corruption and it was surely not. However BJP could succeed to impress the voters with anti-incumbency voting. NaMo comes with creditability of development of Gujrat. So majority people of India including myself believed and voted him to the highest position of power, the prime minister of India; choosing maximum number of seats for BJP. Hon. Manmohan Singh said history would be kind to judge him. Its unfortunate, we did not judge him and voted him out.
Since NaMo came to the power, there have been flood of many schemes and policies declaration. Most of the policies & schemes already existed however with new name. Credit for many events like visit to Mars was taken by BJP Government while most was done by Congress. The change at ground level for these schemes has not been observed.
Strong points:
1.       No one ever doubt about intentions of NaMo
2.       NaMo is determined and hard working
3.       He is Non-corrupt, and would not encourage corruption; there is no financial scam in his tenure. I do not consider Raffle deal as a scam.
Challenges:
1.       His style and image is of autocratic
2.       Not experienced at center
Positive points of NaMo Government
1.       Reduction of High level corruption
2.       GST – It was well thought by Congress while NaMo had resisted it to implement in Gujrat. Government implemented much in hurry. Its getting smoother now.
3.       Surgical strike
4.       Foreign policy, efficiency & services of external affair ministry
5.       Abolishing 3 Talaq rites among Muslim community
6.       Transparency – There has been attempt to bring transparency
7.       Inflation is well managed & controlled
8.       Fiscal deficit is easing from 4.8 to 3.5 % of GDP
9.       Long way to go to improve eaze of doing business, though we moved from 142 to 100 ranking
10.   Acknowledged conflicting ministries and streamlined those like steel & mines, coal & power, etc
11.   Punishment to hang the rapist, however need to extend irrespective of the age of the girl
12.   Peaceful Exchange of land and population with Bangla Desh
13.   Stand with Pakistan and with terrorists about Kashmir; or migrant to Asaam & West Bangal
14.   Could avoid terrorist attacks, bomb-blasts, tightening security except few cases in Kashmir
Blunders
1.       Demonetization –
a.       It burdened the nation.
b.      Except the names of top depositors Government did not get anything. Those include all party leaders including BJP, Congress, NCP, etc; May be if 2019 NaMo again succeed to form a government, this list shall be used.
c.       Many businesses were shut down forever, small businessmen were wiped out;
2.       Bullet train – Toe cost of project is huge, budget includes higher interest rates, and most important is it was never the priority
3.       Building the airports – We have sufficient airports now, and % travelers (beneficiaries) is too small and not poor. Building few more airports can be of secondary priority
4.       Building sky-drive : Just for Luxury and for rich people; Government should not spend any money thus collected through the taxation
5.       Unnecessary expenses on un-prioritized highways
6.       Protection against import from China should have dealt with highest priority. Looking at USA at least Government should wake up. There are so many businesses are dying say in textile industry in Surat
7.       Politics of revenge – Like P Chidambaram being harassed by CBI
8.       Politics of no respect – Veterans like L K Advani and  Yashwant Sinha, etc have been side lined. He can not extract the output taking advantages of the talent. That’s the reason NaMo could let Raghuram Rajan to go; who found difficult to work with NaMo and mainly with finance minister Arun Jaitley.
Failures:
1.       Growth rate deteriorated
2.       Export did not rise
3.       Industrial production is stagnant from 4 to 3.3 to 4.4 and there has not been rise in employment
4.       There is no governance exists, except Sushamaji, no minister acknowledges letter or tweet or comments/acknowledges to SNS and/or respond
5.       Many opportunities were lost to bring the innovative changes in taxation and their reforms
6.       Many schemes declared however not implemented on ground floor
7.       Electricity supply – 18,000 villages have been powered, is it a joke? We have 6 lacs villages in India, what is a quantum?
8.       No newer IIT or IIM started
9.       No aggressive or normal strategy to plug holes in systems at various places, No eagerness to have smallest possible improvements in the processes making those more efficient except Passport office. Just to name few
a.       Food distribution
b.      Police
c.       Banking
d.      RTO and many more
e.      Educational reforms
f.        Health and medicine related reforms
10.   Corruption is not reduced at the root level, there are no special schemes implemented so as to curb the grass root corruption
11.   Leakage in banking – Few top industrialists looted the banks in billions of rupee and ran away. Allowing those to fly out of country is a huge failure of government.
12.   Restlessness among society – There have been rising agitation of Patel, Farmers, Maratha, etc across nation
13.   Food grain insurance – Rs 12 /- paid against the insurance! The policies without checking its sustenance were declared and hence failed
14.   Importing good from China – 80 B$ worth of good being ordered, majority by Government itself. We import 68.06 B$ goods where as export only 16.3 B$ during 2017-18; no action to protect ourselves
E.g. BSNL orders huge amount of instruments from China. How can we strengthen the Make in India policy? How can we protect ourselves? And increase the employment?
15.   No innovative or simple improvements in the processes using technologies
16.   Swachhata Abhiyan – Only people participation would not lead to success of the scheme. Tax is collected by center must be used for the purpose. Government officials should be made responsible. Technologies should have been used to improve the cleanliness. It became a joke that leaders for the sake of photos and videos, do it yearly once for 5-30 minutes.
17.   Cleanliness of Ganga and large rivers– Everyone is aware the status, its waste of money and nothing are achieved. A person agitating to expedite this drive died on fasting. Government proved to be deaf, insensitive and indecisive.
18.   Representation on Rafael deal – Explanation was not transparent, straight and complete
19.   Rupee has been falling to newer lower levels , now at 74 Rs per USD
20.   Fuel prices rising sky high
21.   No change or improvement in the processes & systems, like getting justice and treatment at Police station, or closure of the cases, and overall system efficiency
22.   Inflation and cost of living has been rising
23.   Could not sustain critics within party, does not have ability to take most of the parties along
24.   No innovative ideas implemented like Mass Rapid Transport at free of cost so as to save fuel or auto- deduction of toll using EMAS
25.   I have not seen a single toilet build by government in the village areas I had moved
26.   Gas cylinder price has increased
27.   No protection against free fall of stock market or rupee
28.   There is no realization what people expect. There has been Man ki baat being broadcast fortnightly where as people want him to listen them and their expectations
29.   Governance – Simple points like websites of various ministry contact us pages or login work flow do not work, its an eye wash of the people
30.   No black money brought back from Switzerland or any other countries
31.   Not enough additional treaty signed to hand over criminals taking shelter in those countries
32.   Foreign investment has been dipping. In any case if it comes without creating employment, is not of great help to the country. FI brings and invest money and take away huge dollar outflow as profits (its naturally); no strong condition defining ratio of employment to investment. We just offer them huge consumer market and bring competition to our own manufacturers like Tata.
33.   There have been atmosphere of hate within society and was not controlled to the extent needed.
34.   Curbing anti-nationalist activities – There have been activities of deeply rooted terrorists institutes like SIMI, etc; have not been dealt effectively.
35.   Many unwanted actions were initiated
a.       The Budget date was changed to February 1
b.      The Railway Budget was done away with
c.       Planning Commission was replaced with NITI Aayog
36.   Rapes have not been reduced; need to expedite process to book the culprit and do justice
37.   Increase in Minimum support price for farmers; however it would burden the common men
38.   Managing Kashmir issue
39.   He said one hour of air travel would cost maximum 2500 Rs; he should try to book the ticket on travel portal, 1-2 days in advance to know the rates; its not about he could not do; its about creditability of prime minister’s position!
Propaganda
1.       Foreign visits – NaMo visited most of the countries as a customer of trade (weapons or goods). Obviously he would be treated like a customer only.
2.       Beating drums – Major schemes or events were declared/implemented/planned by Congress. Those were either continued or renamed. Lot of beating of the drums happens seeking the credits. As examples
a.       Right to information
b.      Mid-day meal
c.       Right to education
d.      Right to food
e.
What happed to these?
1.       Make in India – How many contract signed to manufacture in India while buying the good from overseas countries?
2.       Develop teachers and send those to other countries
3.       Develop the soldiers and send those to other countries
4.
Financial burden: There have been burden of Taxes on people. Moreover an opportunity to rationalize taxes has been lost. There are no innovative proposals to reform the taxes
1.       Tax on long term gain on shares
2.       Subsidiary for gas is suggested to withdraw voluntarily
3.       Swachhata Abhiyan tax
4.       Gain was not passed on to the consumer while oil cost of lesser
5.       Lower crud cost benefits was not passed on to the people
Why few might vote for BJP
1.       There seems to be lack of leadership in Congress house
2.       There seems to be no strong alternative
3.       Dr. Manmohan Singh would not be able to lead due to his old age
4.       Mr. Chidambaram may get occupied in CBI and Legal battle
5.       Leaders of remaining parties are most selfish and corrupt except few like may be Chandrababu Naidu; will not accept the leadership of Congress
6.       There might be fight for PM’s position within opposition parties
7.       Congress has been dividing the society
What is the model we need? Arvind Kejriwal is one of the most dynamic leaders country has seen so far. He has surely different models and guts to implement those successfully.
1.       Improving education and making it free
2.       Free health and medicine
3.       Curbing corruption by uploading audio/video files
15.   Connecting rivers and conserving water – To offer clean water
Schemes declared, numbers published however not visible on the ground
